Buried Treasure

A lot of dogs bury things. Most of the dogs we have had could not have cared less about digging, much less covering something up in the hole they just made. Sure some of them try to hide rawhide bones or bigger treads that they want to save for later, but that is a far cry from the effort it takes to bury something. Denny is another story. He loves to bury things. There are several dog toys that apparently have to be buried. I find a lot of them when I am mowing the yard. He has gotten pretty good at it. Usually there is only a leg or an ear sticking out of the ground. The whole thing is kind of cute except that eventually one of the other dogs find his buried treasure and bring the filth covered thing back inside the house. I took some pictures of his better jobs.
